Many of our customers are concerned with what products they should use and how to take care of their wood floors once they are installed.

Recommendations
- Pallmann Hardwood Cleaning Kit (Can be purchased on amazon) to maintain and clean floors
- Place felt pads under the feet of furniture to prevent scratching
- Allow 7 - 21 days before putting rugs down
- No moisture/Cleaner on floors for 72 Hours. It takes 3 full days for floors to cure after completion.
- NO tape on floors, No swiffers, Nothing that says it will make your floor "SHINE"
- Floors are susceptible to scuffs/scratches for 72 hours
- Allow floors 24 hours to fully dry
- For PREFINISHED wood floors, you will need to follow the directions provided by the flooring manufacturer. Not following their directions may void the manufacturer's Warranty.
- Customers should expect wood floors to shrink and expand with changes in humidity, sometimes leaving cracks between boards. This is common and as humidity levels regulate the floor will settle. This is especially common in the colder months when you run your heater.
